Amazonia Museum

There are several centers of interest in this big museum that was built in a neo-classical style. First, a collection of wooden statues, human scale representing different tribes of the South-Peruvian Amazonia (Huitato, Piros, Ticunes, etc…) with explanations about each one. Then, a collection of photos about different subjects and finally, the big Library of Amazonia giving an amazing view on the surrounding nature. It contains an important quantity of specialized books as well as Christopher Colombus’ log books.
